‘The Shadow Game’ Movie Comedy

delivers a new way to settle an estate with the screening
of this independent film at Starz FilmCenter!
Denver, CO - June 24, 2004 -- ‘The Shadow Game’.
A Colorado produced, shot, and edited movie is the featured
movie for the July Colorado Filmmakers feature in Denver at
the Starz FilmCenter. The Shadow Game is a comedy shot on
digital video in a Breckenridge, Colorado ski lodge.
The movie plot is simple; Barley Wistrom has plans for how
her estate will be settled and normal is not part of the plan.
Family interaction, on the other hand, is not simple and keeps
everyone on their toes as the surprises keep on coming.
The movie stars Colorado actors Jan Giese, Norm Jones, Gina
Scalzi, Lee Sandbloom, Matt Ostrowski, and Brandon Hoskins.
Danielle Reierson from Seattle, Washington is the lone out-of-state
cast member. The Shadow Game is written and directed by David
Sutton, a long-time Colorado resident. The cast came from
Denver (Giese and Jones), Colorado Springs (Scalzi), and Breckenridge/Dillion
(Sandbloom, Ostrowski, and Hoskins). The crew all live in
the Denver area.
The movie’s original music was composed and performed
by Troy Polsley of Long Island, New York.

Denver, Colorado produced the movie. Sutton’s production
company Active Communication LLC developed the movie.
The Colorado Filmmakers Showcase has committed itself to
introducing Colorado-made movies. The features are held in
the Starz FilmCenter at the Tivoli.
The Shadow Game’s producers, director, and several
cast and crewmembers will be in attendance at Starz FilmCenter
to represent the movie team! The Shadow Game started pre-production
in December 2003 and completed Post mid-May of 2004.
Active Communication LLC is a Colorado limited partnership
owned by Joanne and David Sutton. The Shadow Game is the first
feature-length movie the company has produced.
Currently David Sutton is working on two more movies. The
first, a suspense feature called ‘Confluence’,
and the second a western derived from a period of Colorado
history.
